Is there a school other than the one you're a fan of that you find yourself rooting for typically. (2nd Favorite Team)......For me it would be the Tennessee Volunteers. I was born in Tennessee and my dad is a huge Vols fan, so i've been to multiple games in Neyland stadium and always watched their big matchups against Florida, Georgia, Alabama, etc.....To this day I still root for them, unless they are playing my Mountaineers lol.

I've always rooted for Penn State, unless it affected Bama. Bear Bryant and Joe Paterno were great friends, and both fanbases had a great deal of mutual respect. I also pull for West Virginia. My wife and her family are from WV, and they were all huge WVU fans, so I root for them by marriage lol.

Erk Russell is my favorite CFB coach of all time. He was UGA's DC for 17 years under Vince Dooley. When he left UGA, he went to Statesboro and literally created the football program for Georgia Southern from scratch. My Dawgs will always be the Red n Black that I bleed, but Georgia Southern is part of my heart and soul.

I have a lot of teams that I'll root for religiously unless they play my Dawgs. WVU is actually one of them.

Nebraska. My second cousin played for them. I can’t really ride his coat tails because I have never met the guy, but he represented the last name very well and is in their hall of fame.

So, when USC was in the dark ages of the 90’s, they were the team I was pulling for and still do.

Here’s the catch, years later at a family reunion in Iowa the cousin I hit it off with is a huge Iowa fan, so I also root for them. Especially because all the other Iowa family members are ND fans.

I love you bro, but you still can't have my beer.

We gotta meet up one day Frosty.

Early 70's. Stationed in Mayport, Fl. Right outside Jacksonville. Fl St had some pretty ruff years. Even an o'fer. People writing in squealing about it in the newspaper about the sorry state of FSU football, and I mean a lot of em. Crying about how they should disband football team and forget about it.
Kinda pissed me off. Then Bobby B came in and the rest is history. But from the buttholes crying about it all kinda made me a bit of an FSU fan ever since.

I always pull for OH St. because I have a couple buddys from college that are die-hard fans. Never liked Michigan so that helped. Also UGA. I lived in GA for a while and the fans were some of the few CFB fans that never really put UK down, I guess because they knew we have a pretty rabid fanbase for a school that hasnt acheived much and were at least trying at football.
