Toughest schedule is a subjective thing. $EC teams are notorious for dodging other P5 opponents including their own conference members in order to stay ranked and/or get bowl eligible. What is FACT is that those two schools are the only $EC programs to play ten or more regular season P5 opponents this year.
Yeah, that is probably why the SEC teams have won 14/17 titles in as many years. It is also why the SEC teams usually win their postseason matchups. The SEC is the top Conference in CFB and attacking that truth only makes you look foolish.
The $EC is so damn tough they have to give themselves extra bye weeks by playing Sisters of the Poor at home. Meanwhile South Carolina and Florida are going against that trend by playing ten regular season P5 opponents this year.
Most teams in the PAC are sisters of the poor and that is the point.
Unlike the $EC, the PAC actually plays their fellow conference members.
