USC football: Mark Sanchez champions Lincoln Riley; says Trojans are now 'on par' with SEC thanks to NIL (247sports.com)
USC football hopes to return to its triumphant days of the past under new head coach Lincoln Riley, and newer developments in the sport such as the NCAA Transfer Portal and name, image and likeness (NIL) compensation are factors that further work in the Trojans' favor at fielding a competitive team quickly. Former USC quarterback Mark Sanchez, who played for the Trojans in the tail end of the Pete Carroll era, recently heralded Riley's leadership while assessing that NIL policies put the Trojans right "on par" with top SEC schools that have dominated the sport more recently.
What a dumbass.
