Morning all. Opening weekend of shotgun season is done. My group got 14 of them, we still have a couple tags to fill but I'm not to worried about it. Probably do a drive this afternoon but I'm only interested in a monster, we've got enough does and fawns hanging already.

It's 40° and I'm forty feet high.

Just a couple does and a 4 point thus far.

I just watched the hog population growing.

First time ever witnessing that outside a pen. Apparently some boars give off a little squeal when they finish.

Mother Nature is a fickle bitch but can be really fun to watch.

May y'all's coffee cups runeth over.

I spent till 930 last night cutting up deer, we still have several to go yet. We've killed 17 I believe so far. Going to do one more drive then I'm done. Have a bball game to go to tonight.
