I have not known of anyone making their own dip from their tobacco field. Plug and twist for chewing was the go-to. I always assumed that a blend would have been needed for a good dip ... plug and twist are awful ... but I hope I am wrong and @Copejunkie nails it.

I hope you enjoy and come across something worthwhile to continue it. Even twists and plugs have a great nostalgic value ... Dad and my FIL liked them from time to time for just that. Tobacco farming was a way of life here for generations and I am always happy to see someone take it up even on a small scale.

That's pretty much their main priority in life at that age, so most of them are exceptionally good at it.

Yeah, he just angrily informed me that I was interrupting his battle between his dinosaurs and transformers, and would I kindly find somewhere else to complain as I was in the middle of the battle field. I swear I cant even have my own living room anymore.

I'm gonna need more coffee.
 
Cops showed up at my house around noon today. I answered the door and the dude said, "you called the police?". I'm like, nope. So he's looking at me all suspicious now and peeking into my house (which I left the door open so he could see inside) while he was calling dispatch. My house number is 405.....he asked dispatch to confirm he was supposed to be at 405. She said, no, 425 (doofus). Hope my neighbors at 425 weren't having any kind of time-sensitive emergency situation.......

We have a great community watch system. Whenever the police even slow down on our road, we send out an alert to our friends/neighbors.
