The new and improved Good Morning thread!

Well I made a mistake this morning, almost a really bad mistake. I wanted to open up another drinking hole for my cows on the pond and I thought I would use the skid loader to break the ice right on the edge so that I didn't have to chop through 3 or 4 inches of ice. It worked well till the water turned the frozen ground into slime and my tracks were slipping and I ended up sideways and slid out on the ice and broke through. I got it yanked out with a tractor and didn't hurt anything, but man that feeling when I broke through was like oh shit.😱

I am glad you are okay and nothing much damaged. I would still be using a spatula trying to separate the seat from my arse.

Colder'n you know what this morning. thermometer says its 16 degrees out there .... warming up my truck now. I think on the way home I am gonna pick up some kerosene for the emergency heater. Already told my kids that if they lose power to just come over to the house.

Really hoping its just a lot of pretty snow and by Monday I can go to work.
