Supposed to be 55 here tomorrow and raining by noon. Then early Thursday morning its supposed to change to snow. 3 to 5 inches of it. I've got heifers that are due on the 25th. A front like this sometimes makes them come early. That means that I won't be getting much sleep starting tomorrow. Heifers will often calve early anyways so good by to a full night of sleep starting tomorrow.

Used to watch one of those farm vet shows and those guys would sometimes have to use a come-along to pull calves out. Crazy shit.

Yep I've used one of those several times. I have also used a fence stretcher. I have a calf jack now and they work well

Morning all. Yesterday afternoon it started raining then finally turned to ice early this morning, didn't get alot of it just a glaze. But now it's supposed to start snowing here later this morning.
