The new and improved Good Morning thread!

I've got ADD (maybe ADHD) so caffeine doesn't work for me like it does for normal people I don't think. Still love coffee, just it doesn't crank me up and get me started.
ADD is no longer a diagnosis. Its ADHD exclusively now. Just a fun fact. Like manic depression is now Bi-polar I or Bipolar II. Also Asperger's is gone. Now it;s all Autism Spectrum disorder. You could fall high or low on the spectrum.

Just think how much fun (and $$$) you could have analyzing THIS group of misfits 😂!

Now that you mention it, I have noticed that shift over the years.... Had a step son diagnosed with aspergers years ago (used to bang his head in his sleep something fierce), but he "out grew" it and is actually a grunt in the Army now.

I've never been diagnosed, but I'm pretty sure I am in the vicinity of ADHD.....oh and I have OCD (but not the good kind that makes me clean everything all the time....). You see folks straightening out business cards and other shit like that in a public place (like on the counter at a doctor's office)? Yah, that's me......

Nothing wrong with that. Its only a problem when you cant function "normally." All of us have our own weirdness but we function just fine.

Yeah… mine sounded more like a growl.
That was one of the few really good parental decisions I ever made. My son rarely heard me cuss, and that was hard for me. The plus side was I could say "Damn it" in my normal tone and he knew how serious I was. We were sitting on opposite ends of the couch reviewing his report card and speeding ticket when I got really flustered ... I was starting to stand up and walk away and said "fuck this, you will do better" and it scared him enough that he stood up too. I looked at him with the evil eye and he said, "Dad I don't know why I stood up but if you will let me, I'll sit right back down".
