The new and improved Good Morning thread!

Good morning everyone. My family is getting together today to see my niece enter holy deadlock ... wedlock. The National Guard is on alert.

I want to thank @OldDevilDawg for driving out of his way to introduce me to the joy of meeting up with our MB friends. Were it not for that, I would not have taken the time to meet two other great guys, @RTR...USN (ret) and @Bama Believer. Can't wait for Boone!

skipped Lowes, put the old belt back on,, cut for about 10 minutes and belt came off again,, both outside belt guards/keepers have the tabs broken off that has the screw holes to hold the belt guard on,, so no belt guards,,
belt is stretched/worn and is bigger than a new one... probably..

put the belt back on.. cut for 10 feet and the belt popped off again...
sweaty, wet, grass on knees and elbows..

Mower is 10 years old,, maybe its time... looking at foothills tractor website where @RTR...USN (ret) bought his new mower..

I don't have enough yard to justify in my mind a zero turn...
calculating how many times I can pay someone to cut my yard vs the cost of a new mower, gas, tires, batteries, blades, belts, spindles, etc.

Good morning folks.

I'm sure most of you are disappoint, but in spite of my best efforts, I am in fact still alive. Triple digit speeds on the water at night is right up there with the top most fun ways that I've tried to kill myself.

@RTR...USN (ret) sorry I missed wishing you a happy birthday, I didn't read back and scarcely post anymore. Don't feel too bad though, my family and friends all forgot my birthday one year, but they still love me.....I think.
