I hired a new guy to my team to help out with some back log work ( contractor on a 3 month stint ) that my boss had a freeze on, but has now lifted said freeze, then informed me that until the back log is caught up then it is considered that we are behind schedule. I brought him on site yesterday, and right after getting his badge I took him over to the coffee shop to not only get my morning coffee but to let him do that as well.... after I ordered ( yes we have an actual coffee shop on site. We aren't barbarians ) He just stands there like he is patiently waiting on me.

I look at him and helpfully say "The line is over there, newbie" to which he replies "Nah I don't drink coffee, but thanks" it took every fiber of my being to not call security on his ass. I literally just stared at him for a few minutes then shook my head as I retrieved my coffee and then motioned for him to follow as I led him to my area. Bastard is lucky he didn't say that shit in the interview. smh.

I only drink coffee about 2 days a week.
