I just talked to my son and it appears his recruiter days are about over ... and not because he is in trouble. Apparently he found another AGR job that he wanted and spoke to the senior enlisted AGR person in his region about how to get it. He has been interviewed by their command team and requested by name for a regiment's operation sergeant (E-8 slot). It is with a reserve DI regiment so he will be going to the DI Academy within a year. He is going to be staying in Spokane for a few more years and is being awarded the proper brownie points with his missus.
 
Good morning everyone. First and foremost I want to thank all of you for asking about me, messaging me, and texting me to check on me. I really appreciate it!
I’m good, I have just been staying off social media, including this site for a couple of weeks. Sometimes I have to break away from the madness to get myself back on an even keel. It’s my way of coping… I withdraw into myself and shut everything off until I have exorcised the demons and put my mind at ease. Sometimes you just need to focus on yourself and put everything else on a shelf. I consider each and every one of you a friend and am lucky to have folks that go out of their way to make sure everything is okay.
That being said, Auburn cheats, orange is ugly, and 1 win in 15 doesn’t mean Tennessee is back… screw those guys. Roll Tide forever!

The crew kept the boat afloat while you were gone captain and there was never a risk of a mutiny because none of us knew who was in charge and none of us are willing to be called the leader of this crew.

I’m glad you checked back in as the holidays have started and I’m glad you got some much needed rest and me time.

Thanks my friend! Wife and I are hitting the road early tomorrow morning heading to Cocoa Beach, FL. We’re having Thanksgiving dinner on the beach this year with our daughter and son in law. I will be checking in sporadically, so no need to think I’ve gone back into oblivion.
