The new and improved Good Morning thread!

Yeah, my sister lived in Louisville. Got a cold snap and same issue. "Heat Pump" did well cooling but providing heat, not so much...
We normally don't have issues during cold snaps but this one is a bit different because there will is little or no relief provided by daylight heating. I am going to raid Lowe's space heaters today and fully expect the electric meter to spin like a gyroscope.

Space heaters have come a long way. I used one in the space we're in the most, the den a small area, where we sit. The rest of the house carried by the heater. When you're moving around and doing it does not be as warm as if you're just hanging out...

As blizzards and severe cold have hit several upper midwestern states over the last couple weeks, I'd like to know why the animal rights activists haven't been out helping producers move snow and dethaw waters so we can get livestock fed. All peta, the humane society etc. and the like are is a bunch of hypocritical pieces of shit.

Today I fed the calves, horses, dogs, cats and thawed out a cattle waterer all by 830 this morning. Then had our own personal family Christmas because 1 of my girls had to drive to a suburb of Chicago today for her boyfriends family Christmas tomorrow. I feel like I got a great Christmas present, I didn't have to spend 3 hours feeding cows today, my dad fed them for me and I really appreciate it. He is going to feed them again for me the day after Christmas because we are going to the inlaws for a noon Christmas. Now I'm sitting here drinking old fashioned's realizing my girls are growing up and I'm not going to have them much longer.

Yeah, you raise them right and them they leave. That's your job as a parent. Does not make it easier especially this time of the year. Good job!!!

I gave you a love but it could have ranged from winner to sad.

I too have the whole family here. Christmas Eve mass at my old church that all the kids received their sacraments at. They all are going in different directions religiously but insist on going to the old church for Christmas Eve mass.

Now home and the kitchen is crowded with dinner prep.

My middle kid just handed me an old fashion. Cheers.
