The new and improved Good Morning thread!

Missed the check in but definitely didn’t miss my coffee.

I am always in the last to know group. My daughter asked me about Mrs sheepdog and my ski trip to Utah at the end of the week.

I had no idea what she was talking about. So I asked the wife. I didn’t get the I told you response. I got the, “oh yeah, we are going with my sister to Utah at the end of the week.”

So Utah and snow here I come. Apparently it’s only costing me ski rentals for the wife because the sister in law has an extra room in her rented condo for us and I can barely walk without falling over so no rentals for me. My skiing days are behind me. I can’t complain. I’ll sit in the ski lodge bar and drink. I can handle that.

Where in Utah? 1st ex worked at Snowbird, skiing was free for me. But that was back in the day. Today, I'd be at the bar as well...

A lot more down south, Brian Head. All of Utah has a reputation for great skiing. Brian Head is a days drive from So.Cal and easy access to the slopes. Back in the old days it was our spring break vacation spot.

It’s been a long time since I have been there and I am looking forward to returning even if I’m not planning on hitting the slopes.
 
Good morning everyone. Spent all day yesterday under the house replacing the drain line for the kitchen and laundry room. Fun times. I’m so sore today I can barely move. I’m getting too old for this shit. My crawl space is barely big enough to roll over in places so I was working on my stomach all day. I will have to go back to follow up on a few things but it will have to wait until the weekend.
On a cool note though the wife got me a set of Bose noise canceling earbuds for Christmas. These things are badass! They completely block all the background noise in the room and the sound is awesome!
 
Morning all. Just got home from work. Im working the grave yard shift all week due to somebody's vacation request. We only currently have three full timers and need to hire three more! Hard to find someone with the licensure we need.
