Ah yes, it's great family time. Lots of sorting cow calf pairs today and tomorrow as well to go to Pastures, so lots of someone letting the wrong cow or calf back and after a few times tempers start to flare and the cuss words start to flow. Oldest girls boyfriend is here today. Grew up in Chicago land. He's never seen this before, she warned him last night. Let's see how much he actually loves her.🤣. I wonder how much abuse he can take before he cries.

I would love to see the look on @Copejunkie's face when that Chicagoite's first words are, "Who is the union rep?". I am guessing it will be the look of a man trying to figure out if there will be enough time in the day to tend to the herd and dig a discrete hole.

Yeah. It's a real problem. And that is just from a short time for pain. The crap docs give out can grab you by the throat and tell you that you now belong to the drug. Some people never shake it and it leads them down the dark path to a bad end.

Yep! I've been on them for about 5 weeks. Oxycodone (percocet is one brand name) is basically synthetic morphine. I've gone through this before after knee replacement surgery, but it's never grabbed me like this.

When you first posted after surgery, I was going to ask if they were able to successfully remove your head from your ass. I was worried you would be under the influence of percs and muscle relaxers, chuckle and sever a nerve ...

We are done for the day, got some to pasture and we arent going to start on anymore at this time of the day. It was funny, at noon we took a break to go eat and he walks in and goes into the bathroom and starts taking a shower. He gets out and says man I feel better. The rest of us were sitting there eating with cow shit on our clothes and we tell him, you know we still have a few hours left. He's like that's fine I'll just take another later. 🤣
