There is a look that I love to get from others that have spent any time getting to know me. It is a combination of bewilderment, surprise, and wanting to call bullshit but afraid of being wrong. I always get that look by saying either that I have never been arrested or I was a national merit scholarship qualifier. My best boot camp buddy was from Iowa, solid family oriented son of a farmer, and my fondest memory of him was the day he pulled me aside and said, "I can't get over it, but you are not nearly as ignorant as you present". He went through a ten minute rant about not wanting to offend me as a preface of that statement. You could see the worry on his face ...

Good morning everyone. Our shower install went surprisingly well, all things considered. The lady that we bought the house from had taken the master bedroom closet and installed a tub in it. It was originally the back porch, so we had no idea what we were in for. Turns out there was no subfloor, spotty floor joists and about half of it had hardwood flooring down. That cost us about half a day to fix but other than that there were no major problems. And I use the word "we" rather loosely, it was mostly my brother.
