I do once in a while, not often though. The benefit is that it gives you access to better genetics and a tight calving window. The downside is that it's a lot of work and time, the conception rate is only 50 to 60% on average, so you still need bull power around. And it's fairly expensive.I am curious if you and/or @Nod4Eight artificially inseminate any of your cows. I have no idea if that is cost effective at any scale.
