It has been raining here most of the night and all morning so far. Unfortunately that means natures concrete will be gone shortly and feeding cows is going to be a bear. My tractor was already cutting 2 inch ruts today, tomorrow will be much worse. At least it's not coming as snow. I don't know how much rain we've had so far but probably around a good inch at least. But if it was snow it would be roughly a foot.

I walked in the house today and my wife was cleaning out her shoe closet. She had some she threw away, but I counted 42 pairs that she was keeping. that dosen't include her cowboy boots that are kept somewhere else.

Day drinking 3 different whiskeys and talking on the phone to an old friend for 2 hours to catch up. It's nice to not do anything for a day. Wife and youngest went to see the middle daughter in ames today, so I've been free to do what I want.
