ok, quick story, me and a buddy went to the beach last year and there is a party store across the street. they advertise different things on the window related to edibles and such.. ive never done any of that shit.. just dabbled in the occasional old school weed every now and then,
my buddy wanted to get some indica edibles so we stopped and he went in and bought a few, now im thinking this is no big deal cause he just bought it at a store and it must be legal so no problem right?
wrong! read on..
brand name O'daddy, d9+HHC 220mg total indica , he got back out to the truck and gave me one and he took one and we went back to the condo. I mixed a drink and we sat on the balcony and put on some tunes and the sun was about to set..
about 30 minutes in I noticed just a real good feeling about everything, attributed that to the setting sun the sound of the waves and bourbon buzz ... an hour in and I realize fuck im high!
my buddy had been telling stories and we were laughing and having a good ol time when he started to go quiet.. and i said what wrong, he said my legs wont work, i cant get up.. I though he was full of shit and laughed but he insisted that he couldnt walk.. whatever the breeze was warm the tunes were good, and I was enjoying the buzz..
a few minutes later his cheeks blew out and he motioned toward the trash can inside the condo, I realized he was about to blow and i ran inside and grabbed the can and got it back out to him and to his credit he held it till i got there but then puked in the trash can.. and still cant walk (i later read online that he was suffering from a real condition called couch lock)..
about 3 hours in my buzz is still climbing and I left my buddy on the balcony and tried to lay down in the bed, couldnt go to sleep.. that damn gummy lasted 5 freaking hours.. when i finally got to sleep i woke the next day with a weed hangover or maybe still high I dont know but damn! that shit was way more potent than any joint Ive ever smoked.. and bought it right out of a store across the street.. since then, Ive taken a half a few times and its a lot more manageable.. I suppose you could build up some resistence but I didnt really like it, id rather smoke one and get a buzz for an hour and be done with it!
