I am heading out back to fire up the smoker for the Boston butt. And a little hair of the dog is on the way.
I'd like to smoke something but a little tired of pork right now. I have enough chops, pork steak, hams, roasts, pork knuckles and ham steaks to last us for another couple month if that's all we ever eat.

I did smoke up a beef roast a few weeks ago, and have a couple more in the freezer. May pull one out to smoke tomorrow.

We normally start off the season with chicken just to season the smoker and grill. I love doing drunk chickens. Being that I am an Auburn fan from Alabama and a former submariner, take that however you like ...
