It happens to us young whipper snappers too thinking we can get anything done no matter what with a dash of invincibility.

Don't let yourself get to the point of seeing spots and/or black. I almost didn’t make it out of the woods working one day.

I know better, but kept working anyway. Foolish as hell. Heat index was 100, and I was working in the sun. Dumb.

Morning slackers. Cooked a big breakfast, cut some grass, replaced two tie rod ends, rotated tires on two trucks, 12:00 still counts as morning by my logic.

Yesterday I accomplished something,, Had to replace the deck belt on my riding mower,, so, I decided that yesterday morning was the day, at 7:40am I got started in my driveway, pull 3 clips and move the rods out of holes, pull another clip and pull cable out of slot in deck and then disconnect spring, Remove belt guard from motor pulley and move belt off pulley, slide deck out from under mower, remove side pulley guards, loosen both side pulleys to get clearance from belt keeper, remove old belt, install new belt. and do everything above in reverse.
took me about 2 hours which included a trip to hardware store for some extra clips to get away from the bent nail.
this is no small accomplishment for me, Today I celebrate
