The new and improved Good Morning thread!

Had big storms just north of me today, got a face time call from a buddy that lives about 40 miles north of me, his place got torn up, trees down all over the place. Going to try to go help him cut trees tomorrow. He said 120 mph winds. Cell service is all but out, sometimes you have internet service and sometimes you don't. Can't make a phone call, towers are down I heard. I didn't get much at my place, wind blew for about 2 minutes and never got bad and just sprinkled for a half hour.

Good morning everyone, it's going to be a shitty day for me. I bought a Hyundai Santa Fe few years back and it has an engine issue. There is a recall and class action lawsuit over this engine but today I have to go deal with the dealership's service department. I bought it new and have less than 38k miles on it and it is burning oil like an old slant six. I will probably hire a lawyer later today(Hyundai is famous fo trying to get out of their warranties).

That went better than I hoped ... the dealership has to jump through a few hoops to repair my engine under warranty. The manager said that the engine will be repaired(rebuilt/replaced) with a lifetime warranty but first I have to drive 1000 miles to measure oil usage and vibration with "tamperproof" oil seals. I am still going to see a lawyer later this week, just to cover my bases.

Bats, you know I love ya bro but I wish you would have talked to me before you bought the Santa Fe,, They are notoriously "Heavy"
