The new and improved Good Morning thread!

Good late morning folks.

I've been helping my neighbors move back into their home after over 2 years since their houselost it's roof, windows were blown out, and the carpet/flooring/appliances were ruined during Hurricane Michael.

They fought with their insurance company forever, contractors price gouging, and finally Habitat For Humanity rebuit for less than half the cost of what everyone quoted them.

Currently they are building them a new back porch out of reclaimed lumber for free.

If anyone wants to donate to a great bunch, Habit For Humanity is a damn good choice.
 
Morning all. Shitty night last night. Driving through town on the highway that goes through in the wife's vehicle and a guy at a stop sign in a truck didn't see us, tried crossing and pulled right in front of us. I hit the brakes and jerked the wheel to the right but wasn't anything I could do. Wife's vehicle is totaled most likely. We are a little sore but alright. Damnit, it was just paid off about 6 months ago.
