Its ridiculous that you have pay these crazy rates for health insurance and still have to pay out of pocket. I dont have as much a problem with the co-pays as I do with "what the insurance doesnt cover." I mean they should accept what the insurance will pay, not send you a bill or bills for what it didnt. People on medicaid dont have to deal with this because they accept whatever Medicaid is willing to pay...Good Morning
back to the doc today for follow-up labs after a slight adjustment to my meds, which means another $25 copay, and another bill from the lab company for $30+.... now thats not a lot of money in the grand scheme of things, and I really dont mind taking a day off since this is a hobby job anyway, but this whole deal with the medical industry and insurance just seems crooked as hell.. I dont know how to fix it and I damn sure dont want govt. healthcare.. I guess im just fucked!
I’m pretty fortunate in that respect. As a military retiree, I’m on Tricare until I reach retirement. The biggest pain is that it’s a pure HMO and EVERYTHING has to go through your primary care provider. Referrals for everything. But it beats the hell out of having to pay what most people do.Its ridiculous that you have pay these crazy rates for health insurance and still have to pay out of pocket.
