The new and improved Good Morning thread!

The idiots are out in full force this Monday morning!I damn near had a head on collision on the way to work this morning. An idiot in a Dodge charger was hauling ass come around the curve completely in my lane. I slammed on the brakes and dove into the grass and we barely missed by inches. Not how you want to start your day!

Spent a few hours practicing over the weekend, and watched a shitload of YouTube videos. Loaded up some .035 wire this afternoon and made one weld. I think it turned out pretty good. I cut up an old bed rail and those are my practice billets.

Good job! It's been a few years for me with MiG but just get as comfortable as you can and keep the welder sounding like frying bacon and the rest will come.

Thats really good.. someone once told me that if it looks like stacked dimes, then you're doing it right :)
