We did, it was great catching up, Ray has a home in Norfolk but 5 years ago bought a run down property on the sound in North Carolina right on the water, its their vacation place but Ray stays there permanent and works on it during the day, between beers lol.. We drank a lot and ate some really good fresh food from a local farmers market, we caught blue crabs in a cage with a chicken leg as bait, played lots of corn hole and darts and literally lounged around for 3 days.. so great catching up with them!

I had an unfortunate incident with a compound miter saw… almost lost a thumb. FYI, the blade makes a hell of a “ping” noise when it hits bone. Still have full use of it, minor nerve damage, but it beats the hell out of losing it.

I was pushing a piece of 1/4" plate with a 2x4 and the band jumped like hitting a wood knot with a chainsaw.

When it jumped it hit my right thumb at the first joint, cut my glove, but only left me with a slight cut.

Lucky as hell.
