The Pit of Misery: Politics and Religion

1. He is worried about precisely that......ie the best and brightest in Germany leaving the country and going to the US because the atmosphere in Germany sucks so much now. They've been in a 3 year long recession and are rapidly deindustrializing. Crime rates are higher than ever thanks to admitting over a million rapefugees. There is little hope for the future since Germany stupidly blew up its nuclear power plants and coal power plants and bans fracking in the name of Gaia worship - thus making energy costs so high they cannot compete. Over regulation and high taxes stifle the growth of new startups.

2. Meanwhile US economic performance has blown Germany's away in the last 20 years....the last 15 especially. The murder rate in the US has dropped to its lowest rate in more than a century.

3. On a side note: Germany is finally starting to provide for its own defense for the first time in many many years so they actually can't be accused of freeloading on Defense - a first since the end of the Cold War at least. Of course it will take many years of higher spending to build up the weapons and equipment needed to have a competent military, but they are finally getting started. Their problem here is the establishment has made the country so shitty that most young men in Germany refuse to fight for it now. Its hard to blame them. Would you fight for a country that gave you no hope, showed you and your history/culture no respect, and which imported rapefugees to replace you?

Feel Good story of the day. Trump endorses Ken Paxton. RINOs fume.

Paxton was going to win anyway. Trump gave Thune every chance to save his beloved RINO buddy by passing the SAVE Act. Thune refused so Trump endorsed Paxton. RINOs cry.

Senate Republicans fume over Trump backing Paxton in Texas race

Senate Republicans on Tuesday vented their frustration and disappointment over President Trump’s decision to endorse state Attorney General Ken Paxton over Sen. John Cornyn (R) in the Texas Senate Republican primary, a move that deals a crushing blow to Cornyn’s hopes of winning the May 26 runoff.

“I don’t understand. He is an ethically challenged individual,” Sen. Susan Collins (R-Maine) said of Paxton, (we don't care about your bullshit lawfare honey. We see right through it).

“John Cornyn is an outstanding senator and deserved in my judgment the president’s support. Obviously it’s the president’s call but I’m disappointed that he did it,” Collins said.

Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) said she was “supremely disappointed” in Trump’s endorsement of Paxton over Cornyn.

“I don’t understand it,” she said when asked about Trump’s motivation.

The Turtle retires this year. Tillis "retired" when we made it clear we here in North Carolina were going to primary his ass. Cassidy was just bounced out of office in Louisiana. Cornyn is doomed in Texas. Oh by the way.....Lindsey is next.

Several RINO's crossed us and paid the price for it this year. In 2 years we'll have another RINO hunt and we'll bag several more.
