As expected the SCOTUS upholds birthright citizenship. Terrible decision.
The children of LEGAL resident aliens, yes. Though I don't like it, you could even argue in favor of the children of tourists legally present in the US. But how are illegal aliens subject to the jurisdiction of the US? If they were, they wouldn't be here. Why should a Guatemalan woman be allowed to waddle over the border, squeeze out a kid and the kid automatically be a US citizen? If that woman trespasses onto your property and squeezes out that kid should the courts require that you leave an equal share of your wealth to that kid as you do your own (ie treat that kid as if he/she were your own)?
