Transgender Penn swimmer Lia Thomas cleared by NCAA ruling to compete in next month's championships

I honestly feel that at some point, if this is allowed to go on, alternate organizations will be formed outside of the NCAA.

Basically the collegiate equivalent to Travel Sports in Middle/High School.

There will be a need, some entrepreneur will fulfill it, be labeled a transphobe by leftists who don't follow the sports or have any skin in the game, and the NCAA will dry up in that sport, until they adjust.

Both the IOC and the NCAA have kicked the can down the road and asked the governing bodies of the individual sports to make rulings, so hopefully that will result in some sane rules down the road before it comes to that.

I'm sure everyone here knows Oklahoma State has been waiting for the flames to come from the NCAA office for a good 40+ years now.

We've become the "example making" university for the Big XII. They basically punished us alone for the latest basketball BS with Kansas and Louisville being the biggest perps.

They denied our post season appeal and a week later decided to completely strike the rule from the books that they killed our basketball season on and continue to deny scholarships for.

I hope the SEC and Big XII makes the moves first to create and follow our own collegiate oversight committee. The best part of being a Big XII'er is being culturally and politically the closest conference to the SEC. I have a feeling, very soon we join up to kill the alliance.

Also, and I can't stress this enough....FUCK THE NCAA

If we were adding one more team, I would want OK State...just for the rivalries...

Honestly, @AlaskaGuy what's Washington going to do if the PAC follows suit? If so then ASU, Zona and Utah are gone to the Big XII and I know the PAC knows this. Do you guys fill the blanks with SDSU and Hawaii?

I'm praying UW joins the B1G.

I'm not sure the PAC, B1G or ACC go unscathed here. The B1G and ACC have the best chance state wise to not go to the chopping block but the PAC is the west coast political bastion. In a perfect world (my perfect world) the PAC folds and the Cali's stay in Cali and separate like they do in other divisional sports schools. Nebraska, Buffablows, Arizona, ASU, Utah join the Big XII along with potentially Boise. The B1G gets T-osu, Sad Quacks, Washington, Wazzu, ND and USC.

The ACC gets USF, SMU, UTSA, Rice, Southern Miss and not Liberty, I wouldn't do that to them (LU that is) 😂

This is one of the few things that makes this old DAWG show his teeth.

I have coached female athletes for years. They are hard working, athletic, and competitive. Some are VERY competitive. I see how committed they are to their sport and the sacrifices they make to be success

They dream of winning, setting records, and playing at higher levels. This BS has the potential to kill those dreams. I am telling you, it already has with this swim team.

I have always played my teams against boys. It makes them faster. They boys are a little physically faster. The girls match boys in technique and aggressiveness. The girls are usually more advanced tactically and shockingly, more physical. Around 12/13 years of age the changes in boys make the physical difference too much to over come and I stop scheduling games. It is not because the girls do not want to play the boys, they beg me to play them, I just know the risk of injury is too high as the boys mature.

I am always shocked when I hear women supporting this crap. It is against everything Title IX has done to provide for female athletes . Those women are too fucking stupid to breed.

As the father of a highly competitive and athletic daughter, it FUCKING PISSES ME OFF! Thinking this shit is acceptable is a mental illness.

With the exception of Nebraska and Ohio St., the B1G is heavy into academics and that includes AAU membership, research grants and total endowment not to mention the fact UW has the third largest football stadium on the west coast along with the largest on-campus college football stadium west of the Rocky Mountains.

Some people put "be stupid" on the top of their list of things to do. If you live in a state that has relaxed marihauna laws cool, if you travel to another state, you better know the risks you're taking. Travelling to a foreign country with strict laws, you are either arrogant (a star!!!), stupid or both. The US should spend zero political capital on rescuing her from her arrogance and stupidity...
