You guys haven't seen it but somebody have Texas a first place vote. There was a coach who voted Texas #1....let that sink in 😂

I actually could see that someone else trying to Shanghi and vote them first to start the headlines and make a target out of Sark. Coaches aren't immune to being petty.

@RTR...USN (ret) my argument about USC is that they are Pickett's charge this year. A mile wide of talent, with no depth. Look at their chart on the O and D line. I am very happy that ND gets them late in the year.

I like it. Week 1, we get to knock off #16 on the road. Week 5, we get a shot at #18 (well, not sure where they will be by then, considering I think they will be 2-2 at that point). Week 6, we get #10 (probably a 4-1 team at that point) at home.

I'll take it!

Can’t fault your reasoning. Anywhere in the bottom tier of the top 25 would be about right to start the season in my opinion.

ND and Michigan are my nail biters this year.

ND is a complete wild card. No idea what we are going to see. Could be lightning in a bottle. Could be 6-6. There is a ton of talent. And a ton of energy. But at the end of the day. It is a ton of youth and in experience around coaching.

ND is super thin comparatively at WR. And had a super sus CB rotation last year.

Along with a new starting QB. That while super high ceiling. No telling what will happen on the field. Especially to take his first offical start. In the shoe. At night on week 1 of the year. Under a new HC. With the world of college football watching him.

I am perfectly cool being a 14 point under dog. As much as I want ND to win. And expect them on talent alone to have a good showing. Could see the moment be too big and it get out of hand.

Hold up I just realized Pitt is ranked after losing their best QB and WR in a generation and basically have nothing to replace them with. Meanwhile BYU that just finished 10-2 (mind you had a terrible loss to UAB in the bowl) isn't even ranked?

I hate preseason polls.

That is the thing that I love about conference championship games and the playoffs ... this preseason guessing game no longer determines who has a chance at a natty.
