Warning

Peaceful protests is good, it puts the powers that be on notice that some have a grievance. Looting is bad, but just mass stealing. They lack any moral compass of right versus wrong, and would steal candy from a baby, just because they can. Rioting is anarchy. There is no place for anarchy in a democracy. There is no purpose or goal but lawlessness. It tramples upon American rights and ideals. What's horrible about this week is the peaceful protests have been undermined by antifa and anarchist. Some protestors may abhor the violence and not support it, but by staying in proximity of the rioting, murder, and looting they are perceived by the rioters, murderers, and looters as giving support to them.
Couldn't agree more. I also feel that 'troops' walking down the street, in the burbs, shooting people with paint-balls
while standing on their porch is way too much. Those dudes should have been at the riots, IMO. Did you see the video
of what I'm talking about?

Not sure about where you live, but I'm certain if they tried this here, or WV
They would encounter a massive amount of return fire... not paint balls, lol!
Not sure what's up with that. Cannot think of a legitimate reason to do that, unless a shooter was in the neighbor and they're trying get people to secure their homes, but even then it's wierd.

They were enforcing curfew, according to the State Police.
Curfew is applied to public property (streets, sidewalks, parks, etc.), not private property. If you had young children playing in a treehouse, or something similar, you are expected to abandon them? Since the video is out there, I expect the higher ups in command have issued some reprimands, or worse.

Bingo. Just like the man arrested for playing catch with his boy in his front yard.

Police are mainly good people, but there are definitely bad ones and in situations like we're going through, the bad get even more emboldened.

I'm not excusing what they did, but I understand how they were thinking... now
that I know who they actually were. They weren't state police. They were a PRT,
(Prison Riot Team). They have to have that mentality, as all they deal w/ are inmates.
Maybe they should have rethought who they called in on that one, lol!

That's the type of lack of oversight that gets innocent people killed.
