BTW, not guaranteeing a win, but a night at home has been a very solid pick for us, lately. Beamer always holds back and plays conservative in early non-conference games, plus we have withheld some key players because of injuries. We got news on last week's injuries. We beat Pavia last year at Vandy, so not too worried, but we lost a lot on defense from last year, and our strength this year has been... defense. I think the offense will unleash the beast with conference play beginning.

I like SCar roster better. I like it at home. I like almost everything about the match up except Beamer. That guy just isn't a great game day coach. And if Vandy comes hungry with that nothing to lose mentality and gets a little mojo going their way. I don't know if I trust Beamer to coach them back into the game.

Again. Im picking them to win. But still not a Beamer guy.

You do know that Beamer has surpassed Spurrier's record at South Carolina? No, he hasn't got the back to back 11 win seasons, yet, but he's poised to get there in the foreseeable future.
