Thanks, we really needed it. IMHO y'all are giving Oklahoma a run for the money on the injury front and we didn't face your full team by a long shot. I looked up the injury report because after watching the game, I was convinced Vandagriff was sleeping with a couple of linemen's sisters. Hang in there and best of luck the rest of the way.

Our offense continues to struggle, not sure its fixable at this point.

In all sincerity, we dont have a superstar RB and we cant pass the ball. It's not a QB problem, it's an entire offense problem. Chip Traynum (tOSU transfer RB) hasnt played a game yet after suffering from a broken hand in practice. Im pretty sure he has been extra off the field to remain a RS for next next year. If I were Dane Key and Barion Brown, I would seriously be looking at the portal. Those two can play anywhere in the country. Stoops is a great coach, but around Lex people are saying he wont let an OC go for a high flying cat-circus :). That may be why Hamdan (Current OC, three or 4 Oc's in the past 5-6 years) said he would put the running game first, probably knowing that is what Stoops wanted, not necessarily what he wanted. I get it though, its hard to turn down a million dollar offer while you are making 300K. I dont think we have scored more than 20pts against an SEC opponent this year. Thats probably more info than you wanted :LOL:

I get it, I really do. I hope it helps to think of the season in terms of team evaluation and all of the factors only when examining the shape of program at large. For me, I am not satisfied with where we are as a team but we are where one would suspect given the last five years. Our program is in great shape given the shape of the team, as long as recruiting trends hold.

Very frustrating when you have the have the talent to air it out and not do it. We have counted on these transfer QBs in the portal to get it done. Levis, Leary and now Vandergrift. It's obvious that there is more to this than just the QB situation. Two pervious Qbs mentioned now in the NFL. And Key and Brown will both be NFL receivers.

I understand and preach, brother preach. It's hard to take a big picture view when the quality of football makes your eyes bleed if you watch over a quarter at a time.
