Barring the remaining games, of course.

For me…

Milton III kid has a damn canon for an arm. Tennessee’s receivers suck, though.
Prime may not be worthy of the hype, but, he did make the most of it and delivered with one hell of a win.
TCU has lost 3 of their last 4 games, and they were in the national championship game. What a joke.
North Carolina looks legit.
I feel really good about Bama. Milroe looked damn good.
Washingtons QB apparently is adequate.
Texas is still an unknown.
OU can score points. Like, a lot.

Iowa's offensive line still hasn't put it together, cant run the ball. Play calling hasn't changed, Brian Ferentz has absolutely no idea how to adjust during a game. Our qb, McNamara came into the game hobbled, got hurt worse during the game and now really can't run, at least he goes through his progressions and can hit the open receiver. Receiver's are better but need to learn how to get separation. The tight end Lachey is a stud.

UK against Ball St., and I get that it was tune-up game:

Defense was decent and looked formidable due to some hard hits and a scoop an score. But they didnt get enough pressure on the opposing QB and some of the the dime looking packages were like WTF? Leary was not as advertised with a modest 250 yards or so passing with 1 TD and 1 interception. It seems that Leary was focused mostly on Dane Key while he had multiple weapons at WR/TE. Ray Davis at RB looked impressive and is definitely the power back without a "run by committee" approach we were expecting. The OLine only gave up one sack which is an improvement, but it looks like starter Horsey may be out for the season and depth is an issue. Kicking and special teams were much improved, making all field goals and Barion Brown running one back for a TD.

Carson Beck is way more mobile than he was given credit for. Good thing, because the OL I witnessed in Athens last night just got dropped from the Joe Moore Award candidate list, IMO. Beck ran for his life the entire first half.

Edited to add: Dawgs have a new Walk-on that everyone is gonna know his name by the end of the season. Mehki Mews

I think you guys beat us. I am a bit nervous for the game.

I wouldn't put the cart in front of the horse.

But I really like the depth this year vs the last couple. I feel like ND could win 10 wins and deserve to. Not just Forrest Gump their way through a couple of lucky wins.

We all know that teams take their biggest steps between game 1 and 2. So how you guys look next week is a much better read if what the ND game will look like. I personally think they just reeled in the reins on the play calling to not give away anything they didn't need to. Like a smart coordinator should

Imagine if you still had Brian Kelly at the helm!

Then it would have been wins by like 10 each time.

Kelly was terrible at playing down to his competition. Especially the service academies. He didn't want to get labeled as beating up on the little guy.
