Good morning everyone.
Short version of a long story. I have ONE phobia, but it’s pretty bad. Going to the dentist damn near causes me to panic, so the wife and our dentist have a plan… they give me a sedative to relax me prior to going. When I get home, I’m pretty much out for the rest of the night. Downside is that even though I slept like a rock and got about 9 hours of much needed sleep, I woke up around 2am. Thus the early post.Yep, up at the butt crack of dawn and still @RTR...USN (ret) beat me to it
Good morning everyone. I have my in laws in town this weekend.
Thank you very much but the condolences may be better served to them. My BIL is a great guy and I tend to piss of his wife, the self proclaimed scientist.Condolences

There is an old stone civil war era furnace in a nearby town (Ohatchee) that has become a Park and a Memorial honoring our County's civil war heroes and early native Americans to the area, The Janney Furnace foundation has civil war re-enactments every now and then and they sell concessions to fund several scholarship grants that they give each year to deserving area students, My boss cooks the bbq for their concessions at no charge to them as its a cause he believes in. I'm Proud to help.. and,, we each get a butt or two to take home (we pay)You, sir (and your crew) win this Friday. When's dinner?? lol

from Wiki:
Eli Henderson Park at Janney Furnace is a park surrounding a fifty-foot tall stone furnace in Ohatchee, Alabama. The furnace was built in 1863 by Alfred Janney to produce pig iron due to the prevalence of iron ore in what is now the park. A July 1864 Union raid destroyed all but the stone chimney, which still remains.[2] The furnace is now surrounded by the Calhoun County Confederate Memorial, built by Sons of Confederate Veterans in June 2003; and the 2009 Confederate and Native American Museum, which includes Civil War and Native American artifacts dating back to the Iron Age.[3] The Confederate Memorial is the world's largest black granite confederate memorial.[4] The furnace was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976 and the surrounding park was re-named in honor of Eli Henderson in 2020, who sought to preserve it.[1][5]
I may be a bit out of line here, but, did you know that going to the dentist is not high on anyone's list? Helluva a concept, I know.Short version of a long story.
