Sure. I have whats called a haybuster bale processor. You put a round bale in the chamber, there is roller chain with slats on it that keeps the bale turning up against the flails. The flails tear a predetermined amount off the bale until it's gone. All at 1000 rpm. It will chew up anything you throw in it. Mine has a blower and spout on it so that I can blow it into a big pile. The reason for this is to better utilize the hay.Never heard of grinding hay, can you educate me, and maybe others?
When you put a round bale out for cows they waste a lot of it. Leaving the parts that aren't very good. This "grinder" as I like to call it mixes the good with the bad, my neighbors that I grind for and I then take the ground hay and put it in a mixer wagon along with corn silage, some use rye as well, and distillers grains to make a complete ration for our cows. The mixer wagon has a scale so you put in just what they need. It makes the hay go much farther and saves money.Never heard of grinding hay, can you educate me, and maybe others?

This thing will chew about anything up and shoot it out of the spout fast enough to kill. I've seen it chew up a wood 4×4 that was baled up into a bale on accident. It was half gone when I finally saw it rotate around. I stopped everything and got it out. It shoots broken rake teeth like a bullet, they are sharp as knives. You can hear when things go through it. One time it spit out a rock twice the size of my fist, it went flying straight 30 yards and buried it's self in a packed silage bag 12 inches deep. You don't walk in front of the spout on this thing.Geez looks like the Grapes of wrath!
Good barely morning folks.
It's my dad's 71st birthday and he has no idea I just started the coals for a 13lb packer brisket and we'll have fried shrimp, scallops, and boiled peanuts to get us by while the brisket smokes for a small shindig.. My brother and I might have installed some go fast parts on his truck too.
Y'all have a good one.
