My grandmother used to make some delicious burgers that included breadcrumbs in the mix. I always wondered why she did that until I realized they had the meat rations during WWII and it made the meat go further. Her and my Grandfather were much more well off than most when I was a kid. She still did it just because thats what she used to do.

I finally had to look this up. Apparently people buy the rubber ducky, then leave it on a Jeep…harmless, but weird.
“All models of Jeeps are open to ducking. There are no “official rules.” However, people who drive the Wrangler model (known for years as the CJ model) are more likely to “duck” a fellow Wrangler. That’s not to say that the “duck-er” needs to be actually driving their Jeep while doing the “duck-ing.”
I drive a Jeep, but it’s a not a Wrangler. Thus far I’ve avoided getting “ducked”. If that day comes, I will not be participating, that figurine better hold on because it will not be on my dashboard.

There is arguably no other vehicle ownership culture that is as unique and vibrant as Jeep ownership, or to be more precise Jeep Wrangler ownership.

Very plausible. I‘ve had a Wrangler guy tell me that I’m not a “real” Jeep guy. Not sure why he thought I would care, but oh well. I like Wranglers too, but not sure I want to join the club now…rubber ducks and butt stuff…no thanks.

That’s fair. I get that the Wrangler is a unique ride, but the fringe fan boys are weird. I’m fine with my GC though, it rides smooth, has decent room for hauling stuff and will never get stuck in the snow.
I’d like to have a Wrangler as a 2nd car someday, I just can’t see it as a daily driver.
