We had a crappie honey hole down below Aliceville on the Tenn-Tom waterway. You couldn't hardly limit out because they quit biting when the water dropped for the locks, but three of us would always get at least 40ish a day and the average was probably 1 1/2-2 lbs with many monsters. To get to it, you had to wait until they were backing the water up and get out on the sandbar and drag your boat over. The enclosed area was large enough that it wasn't entrapment but I guess it was just too much for most to get to.

ooooooo... for a split second I thought we were gonna get a sex story. Course a good fishin story is close.
