I was in Cozumel once and toured their Tequilla factory, i barely made it back on the bus :rolleyes: :p then had a nice dinner and margaritas at a place called Pablo's and was feeling no pain until my credit card was declined, apparently my bank suspected fraud. ughh, i forgot to tell them I was going out of the country..
anyway, the wife had to stay there, and the owner of the resturant sent me with the dishwasher in his pinto to the middle of the island to the only bank (atm) where my business card worked thank God and i was able to pay my bill... the pinto had trash in the floor board and I mean a lot of trash, and the guy didnt speak english,, and the trip was 20 minutes to the bank through some questionable streets and neighborhoods..
after that we had to go to senior Frogs to replenish the buzz 😁, and clean my shorts :cool:

Zero. I am still married, the divorce is in long stagnation, hope to have to behind me in about a month. But I have gotten back into shape. Ran 8 miles this morning in under an hour, heart rate never got over 160. Slowly resculpting myself to pre-marriage shape.

Just remember that there are a few of us here that have been through that before and if you need to talk, want some advice or encouragement, reach out. My expertise is in getting comfortable in a straight jacket and choreographing the Thorazine shuffle.

Thank you brother. I;m not putting a pistol in my mouth or anything. Hell, she pissed me off something fierce earlier tonight that just ....motivates me.

Glad to hear that and perhaps I should have been clearer ... I wasn't suicidal during my divorce but I joined the submarine service to get away from mine. Went to boot camp at Great Lakes, IL in December. In all fairness, twas not much difference than a mental health ward though.
