The new and improved Good Morning thread!

Try not to have to much fun🤣
She is up in arms about DEI ending at ExxonMobil(she retired as a division head at their main refinery). I bit my tongue twice on the phone but the next time I hear "all boys club" at Exxon, I am flat out going to point out that only 12% of chemical engineers in this country are female, 22% of the chemical engineers at Exxon are female and of that 22%, management is 43% female and call her a sexist.

Men are more into things and women are more into people (generally speaking). Engineering is a things profession, so it's no surprise there are more engineers that are men.

This morning my grand son turned 8yrs old. He walked into my living room with a big smile and said "guess how old I am today?" to which I replied "Yer what, thirty now? and you still don't have a job... tsk tsk"

When I say that boy looked offended I cannot do it justice. "NO! I'm EIGHT." and the look he gave me made me glad that he isn't gonna be in charge of my care 20 years from now. Course once we handed him those birthday presents he was back to his old self.... don't tell me money can't buy happiness.

Good Morning, you scrubs.
