I am one too, based on the original usage of the word. Most of you young folks have a habit of conflating terms and redefining words in a way that is never what the word meant just to be able to label and hate. This isn't pointed at you specifically Toad, but some here can't even defend their positions/opinions much less understand a well thought out belief and have one.

There was no wager, there was a plea for me to understand something that makes little to no sense to me. What Israel does or does not do isn't what I'm arguing here, its the insistence that I'm just not doing enough "research" to understand what is really going on.................I'm not the one blaming all of lifes ills on Israel though, that is you who is doing that and its not my job to prove you wrong, its your job to present the facts that back up that position.

Well I clarified that wager was not the proper term. I merely said that Israel would be the cause for the peace talks falling thru (and asking if you;d admit they - Israel - do then, affect your life). That immediately happened. So, yeah wager was a poor word to use. But IU was right, and, unsurprisingly for anyone paying attention. Israel was never gonna let that peace happen. And bear in mind I'm not even criticizing them in saying that. it's just common sense. It's not in THEIR interests, not THEIR agenda for there to be peace.

Well, you contradict yourself. You claim to not know why one would be so critical of Israel, but then seem to ignore the reasons why one would be critical of Israel. If anything, you were given the benefit of the doubt.

Well, are you actually interested in discussing? You seem (to me, at least) to waffle between wanting to just do a fly by and make a dismissive, slightly obtuse comment or criticism about the topic or those discussing, and leave...and other times, you seem genuinely offended or confused. If you actually wish to discuss/debate/argue, I am certainly willing. I actually have an entire thread dedicated to it, to try and keep such discussion there, though, it cannot help but be discussed in matters of the Iranian situation.
