My granny taught me how to ring a chicken's neck quick, fast, and in a hurry. I'd be eating good before the sun went down.

I've actually done it to a turkey. Myself, my cousin, and a buddy cut class and headed for the woods.

A big group crossed the road right in front of us and headed down a tiny trail. We all jumped out for fun giving chase.

Suprising to all of us, we caught up. My buddy was grabbing the tail as I got the neck. A swinging twist and done deal.

I had the high school phone number blocked at home because it would hit you with an automated unexcused absence call.

My dad happened to be home much earlier than expected, so I was busted having to explain why I had the four wheeler in the truck and a dead turkey.

We all ate it and he never told my mom.

Good Morning everyone! Slept in a little bit this morning. Coffee is hot and the day is young. I haven't seen it posted yet, but Saturday was the Winter Solstice, meaning that winter is half over. Each day forward we will have a little more daylight. I hope the sun shines bright on all of you!

I was thinking about that as I was driving to work this morning in freezing fog. Really wish I had enough vacation to have taken off a day or two this week.

Actually, it was the four legged kind, but DOGS, not cats. She got up before me, and the dogs needed to go outside and "it's cold outside" therefore I got drafted to take them out.
