Plan: Go get a rack of Ribs and watch round 2 tonight. since I didnt have power last night and had to watch on my phone :(

Coming back down the highway, I topped a little hill and there he was in the median,, looked down and I was doing 80.
he pulled out but hung back a minute, I thought he was going to let it pass,, but then,,, Blue Lights !

I pulled over and got my Licence and insurance card out, rolled my window down and held both hands with cards out the window as he approached..
I said, I was wondering if you were going to come get me.. He said, you were doing 80,, I said yes sir.. cant deny it..

Why are you going so fast?
No reason whatsoever Sir,

Home,, I just got some Ribs from Cooter Browns and I'm going home,, i just live right down the road here..
I know Cooters is good but thats too fast,, I'll be right back..
(watching through the rear view, he stood behind my truck and got on his radio,, this was a good sign,, he'd be in his car if writing a ticket)

He came back after my licence checked out and asked what the speed limit was on this road,, 65,, How fast are you going to drive from now on... 65,,

I might have still gotten a ticket,, but sometimes it pays to be nice :)

I immediately start crying (just like my dad taught me) and it works every single time lol. Sometimes it pays to be a girl
 
Found out years ago that the best way to handle it when he asks do you know why I pulled you over is simply fess up. The truth is such a rare commodity it will shock them and you are usually home free. Has worked many times.

Years ago was contract carrying mail for the USPS and was filling in for a driver who had eye surgery. Was going through Marion AL and was talking on the CB to a local cop. He was telling me how they pulled a drunk over and got him for more than a DUI. He said I am sick and tired of some SOB who can't walk slurring out I had a couple of beers when I ask him if he had been drinking. He then said if he said Officer I have had too much to drink and I was just trying to get home then I would call another car and we would take him and his car home.

That's called distracted driving in Georgia now and can be punishable by up to $1000 fine.

Good will break old on old CB and follow a GA cop around and if he talks on a CB yell out citizens arrest. Wonder if cops still have CBs in their vehicles.

Truthfully isn't that geared mainly towards texters? If so it is a good one. I nearly got killed on a motorcycle by some young girl texting who came so far into my lane I was about to off road it on the shoulder.
