I'm normally a die-hard fan, but once sports shutdown, I seemed to have done the same. Now that they've been back for the most part, I can't seem to be as excited as I used to be. Guess that comes with no teams left in the NHL or NBA to cheer for and not getting too excited about the possible Marlins playoff. Not even soccer ignited anything. The 49ers lost last weekend and I didn't seem to care. Plus no B1G football yet so I couldn't get into the college games of recent. I usually get excited about high school football in both Indiana & Ohio but I'm just glad they get to play instead of paying close attention to what happens. Even more, I can't bare to watch the step son play his flag football games when last year I looked forward to it. Plus no youth tackle football to coach this fall (maybe this spring) but I can't say I miss that either. Heck I can't even get excited watching any form of racing either. I thought for sure once sports started up, I would be fired up and the competitive juices would start to flow again. What is wrong with me? Anyone else feeling the same way? It's like I'm just a shadow of myself at this point.
