Are we gonna have a discussion about Michigan illegally stealing signs?

This is starting to remind me a bit of the January 6 committee with Ohio St. playing the role of Liz Cheney.

Agreed. Very much an attempt to use anything at disposal to quelle an enemy’s rise to challenge.

The solution to the tempo argument is that teams could still signal in plays, the helmet radios are just an option.

The equipment contract concerns is something I hadn’t heard before. I went to HS with a guy who was a team manager at ND for Lou Holtz. Holtz liked whatever brand of headsets they had been using, and refused to switch when they got a new sponsor…so, they printed up decals of the new sponsor logo and stuck them on top of the brand logo of the old headsets.

I had heard about the logo thing before

And also. In Holtz day. ND was the option first and a very run first offense. So it was common for him to tell the sub player going in the next play call instead of communicating it across the sideline

The Big Ten is about to announce their findings and they want to deal out a punishment. Michigan is threatening litigation if it prevents Harbaugh from coaching the Ohio State game and/or if they are banned from the post season. Buckle up.

The Big Ten could cave to Michigan and suspend Harbaugh for 2 games (PSU and Maryland). In fact, that's what I think they're going to end up doing. The alternative is that they suspend Harbaugh indefinitely (which would effectively mean the rest of the season). I don't think Michigan is going to get banned from the postseason. That's just my opinion though.

In order of it being election day.

I vote for burn the whole thing to the fucking ground and they keep talking about their days of beating up the University of Chicago.

I read an interesting thought on the UM vs BiG fight that is brewing. It was presented as the BiG was going to do this but I highly doubt it. The thought was that the BiG was going to use revenue sharing penalties to force UM to suspend Harbaugh indefinitely. Basically saying that if there was much resistance or litigation then UM would be reduced to Oregon/Washington level revenue sharing for a couple of years. Interesting thought, but I doubt that the Big has that authority in the contract. Even if they did, the litigation would take years.

The B1G is rushing this without proper evidence in order to crush Michigan and I'd bet my left nut Ohio St. is behind this.

I am the type that wants to wait for the evidence to be released before getting too opinionated, but IMHO from what we have seen, UM is busted and the evidence is clear. Them bastards are either stupider or more crooked than Auburn ... if not both.
