I will admit, I felt the committee might last second expand this year- it had every reason to. You’d avoid the Bama/FSU controversy, you’d reward Liberty, you’d get Oregon Ohio State and Georgia in …alas. It didn’t happen.

So I ask the question, if we are skipping over undefeated power 5 conference champ teams, why didn't Ohio st get in the playoff over Texas and Bama? Only loss was to number 2 at the time of the game, and the number 1 seeded playoff team.
