Conference Realignment?

which will be nothing,
(maybe some hopeful words)
i'm expecting Az to annouce their move soon after,
likely before week's end -

A deal will be presented tomorrow. Will it be good enough to keep the band together? I'm skeptical.

But a deal will be presented. I agree that Arizona is headed to the Big 12 within the next 2 weeks unless GK pulls this off.

no man,
we'd welcome the challenge -
Coach McGuire is building the brand -
Beat Oregon and me luv u long time.

was a bit atrong,
however, if there was a favorable deal,
one might suspect we'd heard a leak -

I'll try to update if I hear anything about the PAC deal.

My PAC sources have proven to be unreliable over the last year so I stopped relaying their information but who knows.

PAC deal not expected to be good. I would be shocked if they end up signing this deal. Money is well below the Big 12 and it's mostly streaming.

Arizona to the Big 12 is expected. Oregon and Washington in deep conversations with the Big Ten.

SDSU has to be wondering WTF is going on. I’m curious who they’re talking to and where they’d prefer to land.

Someone on Twitter predicts UA, ASU and Utah go to the B12 quickly after the Pac9 deal is rejected. I could see that…which could lead to B1G adding UW and OU, since they can avoid being the sole bad guy if the B12 poached teams too.

PAC deal was not good enough and they did not end up signing any of the deals presented. I would expect Arizona to pull the trigger in the next 2 weeks.

It sounds like the streaming deal was on Apple and had incentives based on subscriptions, but also was largely contingent on subscriptions. The schools and AD wouldn’t have any idea what to budget. That won’t fly.

Another issue with streaming is that if you have a good game on, people from other areas aren’t going to subscribe just to check it out. I’ll bet me and @AlaskaGuy will be the only ones here to watch UW@MSU because it’s on the Peacock streaming service.

I'm in a 'wait and see mode' atm. This won't end well for the PAC imo.

I'll use my parents Peacock. They only had it bc dad is a ND fan. I'm not planning on getting it though Michigan plays on it now. Freaking hate this streaming crap. We are slowly killing our sport for greed. We may love the sport but the younger generation around me doesn't seem as interested in the college game. What happens to these bloated contracts when they are the ones that are supposed to tune in but don't? Why don't we just make it officially the Power 4 and rename the conferences Fox, NBC, CBS, and ABC/ESPN?
