Welcome aboard! I’m glad UW and got a jump start on playing each other. It would be cool if the new schedule had us playing again in 2024 and 2025.

Btw, the $ gets the players some cool (but unnecessary) stuff. Our team saw the new locker room yesterday, they’re pumped!

That one is going to be a killer. The PAC is big into Olympic sports and those sports don't make any revenue.

ASU and Utah really didn't want to pull the plug on the PAC 12 but they are still on path to join the Big 12.

I’m surprised they weren’t a package with Arizona, but it gives ASU and UU a little bit of cover to say they had no choice at this point.

Now, the elephant in the room: Who is going to tell Cal? I don’t think anyone in Berkeley follows CFB.

Someone on the SXM today speculated a merger with the MWC, since the buy out to leave the MWC is $32mm per team. That would be a very solid conference, and enviable in a lot of ways. The big downside is not generating enough $ to support non revenue sports.

Someone else on SXM suggested that the G5 form their own division of football and have their own championship. That would again be very cool to see, and enviable to many of us in the Px conferences that have a very slim chance of ever winning the CFP.

Cal has a lot of debt after their stadium renovations. Dark times ahead in Berkeley...
