This came from a discussion on the PSU board about Auburn paying a coordinator $2.5 million/year. A poster suggested (and I'm afraid I have to agree) that there are only a handful- maybe 10-15 programs which realistically have the resources to compete. Are you out of the running if you lack a huge stadium, big fanbase and donors willing to keep the money flowing? What about the other 120 odd programs?
