Only Semi Political. Vaccine related...

Maybe now some will believe that we do need to vaccinate the young.

Springfield’s hospitals are filling up again. Southeast Missouri is a hotbed once more and we’re just waiting here in KC once again for the overflows to arrive to the hospitals here. The article you posted will convince no one to change their mind. 10 sick (or even dead) kids might be a sad story to some but they can always find confirmatory data they can reference to help reaffirm in their minds that they are doing the right thing by not getting their DNA altered by this magnetizing and microchipped invasion of their sacred, fat, pre-diabetic bodies. Minds are made up, and at this point it is what it is.

Cases jumped to over 600 yesterday in SC. It's on, and the numbers don't lie -> unvaxed are driving the serious cases, though now it appears that the Delta is more likely (than the other strains) to give the vaccinated mild/asymptomatic cases.

Totes agree with the bold, and Covid is now going to be around longer than it should have. But wtf can you do? Technology has (paradoxically) diminished the value of reason in the U.S. Everything's tribal.

The best you can hope for is we get to HI quickly with the variant. 🤞

I think it's odd as hell that there has not been a substantial backlash against China for this. but we had our hands in this lab as well. Look it up on who funded this lab and come to your own conclusion. If this shit was unleashed to the world via US, we may be facing WWIII.

There's still hope for some. All it took for one of my brother-in-law's and his wife (my sister) to get vaccinated was the death of my brother Fred.

A doctor in Alabama pleaded for people to get vaccinated against COVID-19 as she shared grim accounts of young, healthy and unvaccinated people dying of the disease.

The sobering message from Dr. Brytney Cobia posted Sunday on Facebook has been liked and shared thousands of times.

“One of the last things they do before they’re intubated is beg me for the vaccine. I hold their hand and tell them that I’m sorry, but it’s too late,” she said of her COVID-19 patients.

“A few days later when I call time of death, I hug their family members and I tell them the best way to honor their loved one is to go get vaccinated and encourage everyone they know to do the same.

“They cry. And they tell me they didn’t know. They thought it was a hoax. They thought it was political. They thought because they had a certain blood type or a certain skin color they wouldn’t get as sick. They thought it was ‘just the flu’.”

But they were wrong, she said, and they can’t go back.

“So they thank me and they go get the vaccine. And I go back to my office, write their death note, and say a small prayer that this loss will save more lives,” she wrote.

As the highly contagious delta variant surges around the country, coronavirus is hitting the unvaccinated population with outsize force. In Alabama, 94% of COVID-19 hospital patients and 96% of Alabamians who have died of COVID-19 since April were not fully vaccinated, AL.com reports.

Alabama ranks among the states with the lowest percentage of population vaccinated, with just 34% fully vaccinated.

Cobia, who works at the Grandview Medical Center in Birmingham, told AL.com the current influx of patients reminds her of last November, right before Alabama’s peak in COVID-19 cases and deaths.

“What we saw in December 2020 and January 2021, that was the absolute peak, the height of the pandemic, where I was signing 10 death certificates a day,” she said.

For the vaccine hesitant, she encouraged people to raise their concerns with their own doctors. She said she frequently finds that people who aren’t vaccinated haven’t spoken to their doctor but instead made their decision based on information from other sources.

“And most of them, they’re very honest, they give me answers. ‘I talked to this person, I saw this thing on Facebook, I got this email, I saw this on the news,’ you know, ‘these are all the reasons that I didn’t get vaccinated,’” she said.

Ok, everyone take a deep breath and repeat after me, “Greater than 99% survival rate, greater than 99% survival rate, greater than 9…….“

well you get the picture.

I like my chances With my God given immune system.

If I die from something with a 99.3% survival rate, then it was just my time to die.

Seems so simple.

(just my humble opinion, that’s all)

Yep. I think it's pretty arrogant of us as imperfect human beings to think that we can improve on what God gave us.

Hospitals are filling up in Vegas.

I have just been lazy about the vaccine, and dont have strong opinions either way about it. I did schedule an appt to get my first shot tomorrow.

Honestly I dont know how I have avoided it, and may be one of those people who were asymptomatic, but no one in my house has had it, or tested positive for it. My son cant get the vaccine due to allergy reasons, and my wife and daughter already got it.

I was waiting for an ice cream truck type deal to roll through the neighborhood handing them out, but doubt thats coming.

Home of the B-2 Stealth Bomber.

7 counties in Georgia have been named "potential" hot spots for the Delta variant. I live in one of them. Fuck them for attacking me because I kept working all of last year. Fuck them for assuming that my county is a problem because we don't give a shit about a vaccine for what most of us believe we already have a built in immunity. We all got that shit last year and kept on going to work. Fuck them.

Agree. Some do. I have it for mumps, measles and rubella (the now politically incorrect German measles) Never vaccinated, just had 'em. Job required proof, had to get titers pulled. For those just a little younger than me, there was a vaccine. Not sure if I had it early on and was asymptomatic or had the sniffles. Never won at craps, so I got the vaccine against the politically incorrect China virus....
