Leatherhelmet. He's a Corndog.
I recently bought a Roth Sauer which had long been on my list. I got it for a ridiculous bargain but...that's because its missing a couple parts and I'm going to have to have them fabricated which is a real PITA.

What it would look like if it weren't missing any parts

That flat piece in the front that is fits onto the body is nothing. They'll be able to fabricate that with no problem. That knurled nut at the front though is actually two. Its a royal pain and will take someone who is highly skilled to do it. I found one that I think has the skill to do it but those guys are in short supply....so their waiting list is 10 months. His work will probably cost me about $700-$1000. Its still a bargain considering I got the thing for $750 and when complete they go for $4000-$5000.....but it has taken a good bit of time to find somebody who can do the work I need done.
You got a bargain. Man, I love those grips. I paid $1500 for a similar short 1905 Mannlicher. Also bought the regular longer one for the same price. I'll be posting pictures later after I leave work or tomorrow.
